5 thousand miles, 5 breweries, 2 countries, 1 cause. Sesiones del Migrante is a series of beers brewed in collaboration with Mexican and American breweries to celebrate the Mexican migrant workers who travel to the Yakima Valley to harvest hops for breweries across the globe.
Saturday August 12, Noon-3pm, meet brewers from Cervecería de Colima (Colima, Mexico), Cerveza Loba (Guadalajara, Mexico), Ronin Fermentation Project (Truckee, CA) and SouthNorte (San Diego, CA), and share a taco and a beer. The brewers are in Yakima to help brew Bale Breaker's contribution to the project: Sesiones del Migrante Mango IPA.
Tacos Los Primos will be on site and the beer, as always, will be cold.
A portion of the proceeds from Sesiones del Migrante beer will benefit La Casa Hogar, a local non-profit that connects and educates immigrant Latino families. Look for a limited release of the Sesiones del Migrante Mango IPA in six-packs statewide in early September. Release Party at the Taproom will be September 7!
