Think Bale Breaker only does hoppy beer? Think again! On February 18th, we’re taking our Dormancy Breakfast Stout to the next level during Yakima Valley’s Red Wine and Chocolate events. To celebrate this weekend, we set aside a few Dormancy kegs that our brewers cask-conditioned and infused with flavors like chocolate, coconut, and whiskey. Add a tour of the newly expanded brewery at 2pm or 4pm (first come, first serve).
As winter settles in to the Pacific Northwest and the hop fields surrounding the brewery lay dormant, the combination of beer, chocolate and coffee flavors is sure to warm your spirits.
Breaking away from Bale Breaker’s typical hop-forward brewing style, this year's batch of Dormancy Breakfast Stout incorporates even more oats with the malt, plus an intense coffee presence, thanks to Coast Rica beans roasted by Yakima's Lincoln Avenue Coffee Co. 6.8% ABV 50 IBU
