Seattle Beers Made By Walking- Upper CCC Trail Hike (North Bend)

Seattle Beers Made By Walking- Upper CCC Trail Hike (North Bend)

Beers Made By Walking (BMBW) returns to Seattle with a new series of public hikes with brewers! BMBW invites brewers to go on nature hikes led by volunteer naturalists and brew beer inspired by plants found on the trail.

This will be the first hike of the 2017 series! Volunteer naturalist Mark Boyar will take brewers and the public on a plant-inspired tour of the Upper CCC Trail. We will meet at 10 AM at the North Bend Park and Ride to carpool. This event is FREE, but we do ask that you register!

Breweries: Bale Breaker Brewing Company, Hellbent Brewing Company, Machine House Brewery, Postdoc Brewing

All of the breweries participating are Partners of the Washington Wild Brewshed Alliance, an outreach program of Washington Wild of over 50 breweries that helps people make a simple connection: healthy watersheds mean clean water, and clean water makes better beer.

The 2017 series of three hikes are organized by Washington Wild. Each hike is free and open to the public, but RSVPs are required. Hikers are accompanied by local brewers who must create a hike-inspired beer in the fall for a special BMBW tapping event where you can try all 10 nature-inspired brews.

These place-based beers serve as drinkable, landscape portraits of the trails that are walked. Tapped during special event at Naked City Brewery, the proceeds are donated to the Washington Wild. The full list of beers will be published after the hikes are finished...keep tuned for details!

There will be an event at Naked City Taproom in Seattle on October 7 when you can try the beers. Save the date!
