COVID-19 Update: Bale Breaker Brewing Company’s taproom is temporarily closed to the public. We are offering beer for pick-up at Provisions Market in Yakima – click here to order
VOLUNTEERS! We need your help at Ales for ALS this year. If you're interested in helping us out at Bale Breaker, sign up by June 22 to volunteer at this year's event. This year's event is on Saturday, June 27.
We'll have a volunteer orientation on Monday, June 22 at 5:30 PM with pizza, (1) pint of beer provided by Bale Breaker, and all the information you'll need for the event. If you're interested in volunteering, email email@example.com to sign up! At the orientation you'll get some free food and beers, plus an exclusive Bale Breaker volunteer tee, some free scrip for beers, and the warm fuzzies from helping out for a good cause. We're so grateful to the community support we've had so far making it the biggest taproom day of the year, which is why we need more hands on deck to continue hosting this fun event.
About Ales for ALS:
With over $2.5 million dollars raised to date, Bale Breaker founded the Ales for ALS program with their family to #endALS. Leveraging the family hop farm and community ties, beer is brewed around the world with a unique hop blend donated by Yakima Chief Hops, and a dollar of every pint of that beer goes back to ALS research to find a cure. The owners of Bale Breaker have been deeply affected by ALS, with many family members dying far too young from a family gene that carries the disease. To kick off this program, Bale Breaker throws an event at the brewery every summer, the biggest day of the year, to raise funds and release Bubba’s Brew, the first beer brewed of the Ales for ALS program. Together we're making progress, pint by pint. And we’re looking forward to an even bigger 2020
