Bale Breaker Names Justine Malland as Eastern WA and North ID Sales Manager
Yakima Valley Brewery Announces Addition of EWA/NID Sales Manager
Yakima, Wash. – July 1, 2019 – Bale Breaker Brewing Company, a family-owned brewery located in the beautiful Yakima Valley, today announced Justine Malland as their new Eastern WA and North ID Sales Manager. She will be taking over this region from long-time Bale Breaker employee, Jon Mullen, who will transition to managing the Central WA and Yakima territories. This addition to Bale Breaker’s sales team will help the brewery dive deeper into their backyard, furthering availability of its hop-forward IPAs in this core region of their distribution footprint.
Raised in Yakima, Malland has over ten years of experience working in the beer and hop industries. Yakima residents may recognize her for her years of bartending at Yakima Sports Center, and most recently, she was the Market Manager in Spokane for Ellensburg’s Iron Horse Brewery.
“I’m so excited to be a part of my hometown brewery, which I have watched grow from the beginning. I’m so honored to be joining the Bale Breaker family,” Malland said.
Malland’s deep roots in Bale Breaker’s hometown of Yakima makes her a great fit as the newest member of the six-year-old brewery’s growing sales team. Co-owner Kevin Quinn is excited to add another talented and knowledgeable member to his powerful team, especially one with a passion for the Yakima Valley and its place as the leading producer of hops in the world. “Not only does Justine bring excellent knowledge of the Spokane area beer scene, but we’re stoked to be adding some homegrown Yakima talent to the team here at Bale Breaker,” said Quinn.
The new addition to the brewery’s sales team will help Bale Breaker continue its mission to craft the choice hop-forward and aromatic beers in the Pacific Northwest.
