Fresh Hop Beer Season Is Here
October – when the weather begins to cool down and the days grow shorter, we’ve only got one thing on our mind: fresh hop beers. This year, we want you to know exactly where to find our beers near you.
We have a handful of fresh hop beers hitting the streets in the coming days. You can find Citra Slicker Wet Hop IPA in 16oz 4-packs and on draft across our distribution channels in Washington, Oregon, and Northern Idaho, and Piled High Imperial Fresh Hop Ale on draft at a handful of our usual haunts. And if you’re very lucky, you might stumble across Forever Greens Fresh Hop IPA on draft around the PNW. You can always use our beer finder to locate these beers near you, but we’ve outlined some key locations to find them this year:
Eastern Washington/Northern Idaho
- Idaho Pour Authority (Sandpoint, ID)
- Located in downtown Sandpoint, Idaho Pour Authority has 12 rotating craft beer taps and over 300 unique bottles of craft beer in stock. Grab a pint of Piled High and then pick up a 4-pack of Citra Slicker on your way out the door. Bonus: Swing by on October 16 for a Bale Breaker brewer’s night.
- Flying Goat (Spokane, WA)
- Head on over to this Audubon neighborhood pizza pub and grab a pint of Citra Slicker or Piled High, before grabbing one of their many delicious pizzas.
- Community Pint (Spokane, WA)
- Swing by this craft beer bar, growler fill station, and bottle shop to pick up Citra Slicker, Piled High, and even sample our Jameson Barrel-Aged Topcutter.
- Republic Pi (Spokane, WA)
- This South Hill Spokane restaurant will be pouring Citra Slicker & Piled High – and, as a bonus, you can also try Golden Grit, our 2nd IPA Rotator. After your beer, be sure to try one of their Neapolitan-style pizzas.
- Barley's BrewHub(Kennewick, WA)
- We’re pouring Piled High and Citra Slicker at this Kennewick restaurant and taproom. Grab a growler fill or a pint, and be sure to try one of their house made sausages. We’ll be there October 16 for a brewer’s night – come join us for a night of prizes and beers!
Western Washington
- 74th Ale St. Alehouse (Seattle)
- Local beer, delicious food, and locally owned? This Greenwood alehouse is the perfect place to grab a Citra Slicker. And be sure to join us on October 16 for a special Bale Breaker cask night.
- Brave Horse Tavern (Seattle)
- This South Lake Union tavern’s burgers and wood-fired pretzels are nearly as delicious as their 30+ beers on tap. We’re hosting a Fresh Hop Release Party on October 17, where we’ll be dominating the taps with our covetable fresh-hopped beers.
- The Beer Junction (Seattle)
- This West Seattle beer-lovers staple features 35+ rotating drafts and a bottle shop with 1300 labels. Swing by for Piled High or Citra Slicker on draft, and be sure to take home a 4-pack of our 16oz Citra Slicker cans on your way out the door.
- Edison City Alehouse (Tacoma)
- This neighborhood taproom and bottle shop in the heart of the historic Edison district of South Tacoma will be featuring both Piled High and Citra Slicker on draft. Swing by, have a pint, and then grab a growler fill on your way out.
- Josh’s Taps & Caps (Snohomish)
- This bottle shop & craft beer bar in Snohomish has new brews rotating through the taps and fridges every day. You can find Citra Slicker on draft & in cans here this October.
- Oly Taproom (Olympia)
- You can’t go wrong in Olympia by heading to Oly Taproom in the South Sound area. Grab a pizza and a beer to drink here or to go – they’ll be serving Citra Slicker this fall.
Oregon
- Proper Pint Taproom (Portland)
- Located in Woodstock, this Portland taproom has one of our rare draft finds: Forever Greens Fresh Hop IPA. Grab a pint, and use the red phone in their taproom to order delivery directly to you. No need to go anywhere else.
- Capitol Highway Grocery & Deli (Portland)
- This cult favorite convenience store has an amazing selection of beer & wine, and this October they’re serving up our 16oz cans of Citra Slicker. A bonus? They’ve also got cans of Golden Grit, our 2nd IPA Rotator. Grab both and have yourself a Bale Breaker night in.
- News Seasons Market (Portland, Beaverton)
- Portland residents know New Seasons is the best market around – not only do they have a massive selection of food from local farmers, producers, ranchers, and fishermen, they also carry a great selection of local beers. Swing by and grab a 4-pack of Citra Slicker while you’re picking up dinner.
