July is Ales for ALS month at Bale Breaker
Want to win a Bale Breaker brewday, while also making a difference pint by pint? Join us for a month-long fundraising effort in support of ALS-TDI!
If you’re new around here, you might not be familiar with Ales for ALS. This unique fundraiser is near and dear to us here at Bale Breaker. Ales for ALS is a national fundraising campaign that was started in 2013 by our family’s hop farm, Loftus Ranches, to raise funds and awareness for ALS research. Each year, Loftus Ranches and Yakima Chief Hops donate a unique blend of new and exciting hops to breweries across the country, with the ask being a donation to ALS Therapy Development Institute of at least $1 per pint brewed.
Prior to 2020, we threw a massive Ales for ALS kick off party every year at Bale Breaker – this is our largest event of the year at the brewery, and an epic good time. We’ll be back with our big event in 2022, but we’re doing things a little differently this year. Rather than one big event, join us for Ales For ALS Month throughout July!
Here’s what you can expect throughout July:
ALS is not an incurable disease – it’s an underfunded one. Together with family and friends, we’re working to change that. Since 2013, Ales for ALS has raised close to $3.5 million for the ALS Therapy Development Institute, dedicated to finding a treatment and cure for ALS. Join us on that mission this July.
