Come join us on Friday, January 11 at 5pm for Yakima's Hoptoberfest in the Modern Living Building at the State Fair Park. The Hoptoberfest Dinner and Aggie Awards celebrates local farmers and is put on by the American Hop Museum in Toppenish. All profits go toward keeping the museum up and running.
Besides having an opportunity to drink Field 41 Pale Ale and Topcutter IPA (which is a pretty good reason to come!), Hoptoberfest includes a German-style dinner and live music, a silent auction, commemorative beer glasses, raffle tickets for some great prizes, and many other beers by great craft brewers like Yakima Craft, Snipes Mountain, Horse Heaven Hills, Whitstrand, Ice Harbor, Rattlesnake, Sierra Nevada, and Laht Neppur. Wine, beer and nonalcoholic drinks are included in the ticket price; mixed drinks are available at an additional cost.
Tickets can be purchased through the Washington Hop Commission at 509-453-4749. (A limited number will be available at the door.) Cost is $75, of which $35 is tax-deductible.
